- LFCS Blessing Bags Program — Funding Priorities
The LFCS Blessing Bags Program provides essential items to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, or other difficult circumstances. Our funding priorities focus on meeting immediate needs while preserving dignity and showing individuals that their community cares.
Funding Priorities
- Personal Hygiene Essentials: Soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, wipes, and other personal-care necessities.
- Clothing Essentials: New socks, T-shirts, underwear, seasonal clothing, and other basic necessities.
- Food & Nutrition: Bottled water, nonperishable snacks, and individually packaged food items.
- Women & Children’s Needs: Personal-care products, diapers, baby supplies, school supplies, and age-appropriate essentials.
- Blessing Bag Supplies: Durable bags, packaging materials, storage containers, and supplies needed to assemble and distribute the bags.
- Transportation & Distribution: Funding to purchase, transport, store, and deliver Blessing Bags to community partners and individuals in need.
- Program Expansion: Resources that allow LFCS to prepare and distribute more Blessing Bags and respond to growing community needs.
Our Goal
LFCS seeks to provide 800 Blessing Bags while building sustainable partnerships with businesses, churches, organizations, and individual donors.
Every contribution helps us provide more than necessities—it helps us deliver dignity, compassion, hope, and love to someone during a difficult season.

Love Fellowship Community Services (LFCS) seeks funding to strengthen and expand programs that address immediate needs while helping individuals and families achieve greater stability, dignity, and self-sufficiency.
Primary Funding Priorities
1. Basic Needs & Blessing Bags
Funding for hygiene products, clothing, socks, food, personal-care items, and other essentials for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or hardship.
2. Food Security & Community Meals
Support for purchasing, preparing, and distributing nutritious meals and food assistance to underserved individuals, seniors, and families.
3. Senior Support & Transportation
Resources to provide transportation assistance, grocery support, meals, companionship, and other services that help seniors remain connected and supported.
4. Youth & Family Development
Funding for tutoring, educational enrichment, school supplies, family activities, mentorship, and programs that strengthen children and families.
5. Financial Literacy & Economic Empowerment
Support for financial education, budgeting, credit readiness, homeownership preparation, workforce development, and other opportunities that promote long-term financial stability.
6. Health, Wellness & Personal Dignity
Funding for wellness initiatives and programs such as The King’s Chair Initiative, which provides professional grooming services and other dignity-centered support.
7. Transportation & Program Operations
Support for reliable transportation, program supplies, storage, insurance, technology, outreach, volunteer coordination, and other operational needs necessary to serve the community effectively.
8. Organizational Growth & Sustainability
Funding to build LFCS’s capacity, develop sustainable programs, strengthen community partnerships, recruit volunteers, and expand our ability to serve more people throughout the Nashville community.
